Why do people encourage profanity and abuse on this site by answering those questions?
Okay, so this isn't really a question so much as a suggestion to those who answers abusive questions to STOP. Answering the question just encourages the behavior. If nobody reacted (other than by reporting the abuse), they'd get bored and leave. Just click into the question, click "Report Abuse" and then leave. Don't post anything. Don't give them the satisfaction of a reply.
I'm talking about the really obvious ones, the ones that you can tell they're just trying to get a reaction. Basically the ones that refer to sex with children, or hate crimes.
catsclaw89 - That's exactly what I'm talking about. You reply - that's what they want. They want a bunch of people to get all ticked off and call them perverts and post fifty answers. Don't do it! Don't let them sucker you into it. Reporting them is good, but by the time Yahoo gets around to doing anything about it, they've already received all the gratification they were looking for.
ND4SP - Congratulations - you get 2 points (that are absolutely worthless), and you get the satisfaction of knowing that you've invited them to come back for more.
normobrian - This IS a question - followed by my opinion. what happened to your "security" of self not to be offended?

Im not sure why people wont stop responding. It just that simple really. These people arent going to leave as long as they are getting the attention that they want, and yahoo is obviously not going to do anything about it. This has been going on for what, 3 weeks or more now......and the problem just keeps coming back under another name. I dont see much hope.

I guess as this site was made for, they give an easy answer for just the points. When they answer a stupid question, no matter what they do, they get 2 points. And the ods of them getting 10 points for best answer when they are the only answer, is higher.
Its all about the points. There really should be more moderating, but I just skip those types of questions.

Because I don't get offended, but I do enjoy the humor. I don't give a ratsass what people ask. I'm secure enough to know that it has absolutely no effect on me, whatsoever.
By the way, I'm reporting YOU for making a statement instead of asking a question.

I understand but also try to understand our perspective as well if we call them a "SICKO" and say reported we get 2 points and the satisfaction of calling them a "SICKO"

Define abusive.
Some people don't find things as abusive as other people.
It's all point of view.
However, I do agree with you in the mid set that we should ignore idiotic questions. :]
