My 2 year old daughter dont eat much & have become very choosy, I am worried about her health.?
She also has a cousin sister 6 months younger who doesn't seem to throw as much tantrums while eating food. Ironically, this is also a fact that my kid is more active, enthusiastic, talkative & sportive than her cousin.

As long as she is getting the nutrients she needs in the foods she does eat it shouldnt be a problem. My fiance is 22 and from the time he was about your daughters age he only ate 4 things his whole life until now. Spaghetti, peanut butter crackers, french fries and ice cream. Thats ALL he ate his WHOLE life. That is until he met me. Now im slowly getting him to try new things. He eats burgers and hot dogs now and pizza things like that. But my main point is he has been healthy his whole life from eating only those 4 things.

Don't let her get away with it. She is only two, but if you let her get away with it now it will be harder to fix later on. The food may also bother her stomach, watch for any signs of that. It may sound harsh, but do not reward her for throwing tantrums and being picky, it will only make her do it more because she'll think (and she will) get rewarded every time. By rewarding I mean coddling, giving her something she does like (ie sweets), etc.

I can understand your concern. My brother didn't care to eat too much either until he was 5 or 6.
If you feel she's undernourished, have her pediatrician give you some tips to get more nutrition in her.
It's really bad if she's becoming a picky eater. Make only one thing for lunch. If she doesn't eat it, give it to her for dinner, and so on. It's important that she doesn not become a picky eater: children can not chose what they eat, or they will be malnourished.

You will nottakethe advice but I will give it anyway. No junk. No McDonalds, D, BUrger King, no nuggets, no fries. Stick to the basics, meat, rice, potato, fresh fruit, no candy, no juice at all. no procesed meatns or chips. It take sa lot of work and most parents are lazy. They want what is easy.

This is quite common . Children have things to do ,see, explore. ours seem to love picnics as long as they can pick what they like to take with them. Don't worry to much. As us girls know only too well.It does change . As long as they are healthy; and your child sounds brilliant.
