Help!!! Bugs are eating me alive... I'm visiting Tennessee and first I got Poison Oak and now...?

I have been bitten by bugs and the itch is driving me insane. I have tried calamine and anti itch cream and it doesn't help... There are so my types of bugs that I dont know what's bitting me. I don't know if it's mosquitos, spiders, ticks, ants, mites etc... I just need tips in making the itch go away...

funk deluxe, glad to see you got off the idol questions,4 of them, any way cure for itch, stick with me here, down in Tenn they got that red dirt-clay whatever, you take that and just cover yourself until it dries and starts falling off, might want to put a rope under your arms and nail it to the wall so you sleep standing up, don't want to mess the bed up with that stuff good luck

Take a bath in oatmeal. Get a old sock and fill it with oatmeal. Tie a knot in the open end of the sock and throw it in the bath. You can squeeze the oatmeal over you body. It will help with the itch.

Avon Skin So Soft will keep the bugs away or OFF Spray. Every year when I go fishing "in North Carolina" I always use a load of S.S.S and it keeps anything from biting me.

You can also go to your local drug store and get something to dry up poison ivy or poison oak. There are a lot of new products that keeps it from spreading.

Stay out of the woods! lol

You will be less likely to get poison oat.

My brother swears by TECNU. It is an over the counter salve for Poison rashes. If it is so bad you are not sleeping, try Benadryl(or generic) at night. If you are swelling and the itch is insane, you may need to go to the doctor for a injection to help ease the itch and discomfort.

  • really smother them with whatever you're using. i got poison oak once and there was a kind of gel that really helped cool it down. oh, and use bug spray so you dont get any more bug bites. it also helps if you don't scratch, even if it's hard. if you really need to, just slap.

Get some Aveeno Oatmeal Bath and follow up with the oatmeal lotion. It works wonders. Also, always use insect repellent when outside for prevention.
