    It's Latin, and pronounced "Koh-jee-to air-go sum".

It's a phrase written originally by French philosopher Rene Descartes, and means "I think, therefor I am"

blearyboy's answer is right, although I usually pronounce it with a hard "g" sound. It doesn't really matter. Latin is a dead language, so the pronunciation is up for grabs.

It's Latin, it means "I think, therefore I am." It's a famous line from Rene Descartes, the Renaissance philosopher.

    Listen to blearyboy. He's right.

Latin: "I think, therefore I am."

It is a logical argument for explaining your own existence.
