Do you ever wonder...?

about the type of people that take these questions so seriously? Especially when they are meant in a completely harmless, tongue-in-cheek manner? Why answer the question if you have to be hateful? Just walk away.... life is too hard without adding a bunch of silly **** to it. Is it really worth it to be upset over what amounts to a missing smiley face?

Update:

that is a bit of a pessimistic attitude Sandy... and here I thought they would read this and have epiphanies or something... *eye rolling*

I hate haters!! I am not here to unlock the secrets of the universe, I am here to be amused! Harmless tongue-in-cheek questions and answers are the only way I roll.

There are many different types of people in the world. Some people are just generally serious all the time. Some people think the whole world is a joke and everything is funny. Some people think that they are funny and that everyone else is a joke. And the list could go on and on and on. It is very difficult to establish from written material whether the gist of it is serious or humorous. Often written material is interpreted differently by each individual. So . . . just get over it! People are going to continue answering as they have regardless of what you think or write.

People have a hard time it seems to distinguish between fun questions and the real serious ones. Or they only look at one or two words and take off with that.

A lot of it has to do with people not understanding the English language all that well. This is what our schools seem to be producing nowadays.

I love tongue in cheek....those are the most fun.

I've only been on this site for a few days, and it amazes me how bitter some people get towards a silly question. Serious question, serious answer. Silly question, silly answer. Simple as that. These "bitter" people have other issues in their lives they are not willing to deal with, so it is easier and safer for them to spew their vile on anonymous others. They need to get real, take it for what it's worth, and RELAX!

My answer always depends on the type of question or the way it is asked. If I think it's too stupid of a question, I go to the next one.

I usually only answer to those that I can type up quickly.

And yes, I do answer some silly questions, only because they are too humerous to pass up!

People choose to become upset because they have so little in their lives that they have to "make a stand" against others that just want to have a bit of fun. I like your questions and they make me laugh.

Hellooooo people!!! There's nothing wrong with that! Pull the sand out of your a$$e$!!

i don't worry about 'em. I have asked and answered very serious questions as well as the most ridiculous ones. If someone can't tell if you're taking the piss or not, then they don't "get" you and you probably wouldn't relate to their opinion too much anyway

totally agree i just like to read what ppl problems r not bc of any thing but seriously ppl write the longest answers

Normally, my answer is as serious as the question warrants.

But please don't try to read anything into that.
