I put moth balls in my flower beds to keep the cats out, smells funny but it works!
You probably don't want to litter your lawn with moth balls though. I had this same problem with my dog burning my lawn where she peed. Look on the web for Dr. Fosters & Smith, it's a pet supply mail order store. I bought a liquid to put in the dog's water that breaks down the nitrogen in the pee and reduces the burn spots. It seems to be working, maybe they have something similar for cats.
GOOD LUCK!

Heard about a product called "cat stop". It's an ultra sonic device with a motion detector on it that blasts an ultra sonic squeal that I'm told makes cats avoid the area like the plague. Have not used it myself but have heard success stories from friends. Cat Stop is manufactured by Contech Electronics. I'm sure you can find it on the web if you enter the above data on a search engine to read more about it and order it if you like.
Good Luck!

spray them with a garden hose when they are on your lawn
Also contact the owners and tell them that they need to keep their cats under control.
They do not allow dogs to roam free so why cats?

Go buy a bunch of ceyenne and black pepper. Sprinkle it all over your yard. It may just become the most hated yard amongst cats in your area. You may have to do it more than once. Good luck.

Shoot them........
I don't know. I would get a dog and the barking dog will keep the cats away.
