It's for my sister in laws step children. (girls)
I should add that it is at a fun park designed for kids ages 2 and up, my son is one.

You don't have to give an excuse, and you don't leave any other option to back down. You don't have to say "yes" to every invitation in your life either.

Maybe you should just let him go for a little while. He's just a kid- let him stay up after his bedtime this one time.

Why dont u let him go?Its only one time, besides isnt ur son on summer vacation?If it was a school nght its understandable, but its summer, Cmon Mom,it wont hurt

It won't hurt you or your kid to go to bed one day late. You have to go but you don't have to stay. Make sure you get a great gift and stay for the song then apologize and go home.
