my mom wants me to grow up and explore the world but won't let me and i'm sick of it what should i do ????

My mom was just like that... Just do what you want, don't intentionally go against her will but do what you want! And remember she loves you, she's your mom.

I'm confused she wants to explore the world but wont let you? what is that? I think you need to figure out what you want to do with your life on your own terms. If you are, say, in high school now is the time to start planning your future.what kind of career do you want,where do you want to be? think about those things because remember no sane person wants to live in there parents basement for the rest of their life.

i went through the same thing. i moved out, i was old enough, 17, and i knew if i was on my own i'd be forced to grow up and figure out how to take care of myself. think it through though, its not easy and its a lot of work. sometimes i even felt like going back, but you cant look backwards, you gotta move forward. thats if talking to her doesnt work.

tell her how you feel. she just don't want to let you go yet
