Why would anyone say 'No' to Jesus?

No thank you. Happy now.

No it doesn't. 'Just say no' is a term coined by Nancy Reagan in the 80's as a catchphrase for the federal government's anti-drug policy. The drug war is a failed policy and using this terminology about Jesus merely projects that Christianity has also failed as miserably. 'In this day and age,' science should prevail over faith as it is faith that divides and will inevitably conquer this world! Although I would argue as usual that problem with Christianity is not Jesus, but the politically motivated church, and I'm perfectly OK with the heralding of the historical Jesus. He was a much more influential man then he ever knew or intended to be, and I think he would be flabbergasted at a lot of the things that are done in his name!

Jesus was just a guy who lived about 2000 years ago who had a little cult around him that grew out to be one of the most indoctrinal religions. In Jesus' name a lot of blood is shed by hypocrits who say that 'you shall not kill'.

His mother told that she was a virgin when she got pregnant. If now someone would say that, we would laugh.

Tell someone a story and let him/her tell that to other people. See how quick the story changes. Things got added, left away, and bend to what is good for the people who try to convince.

What nation was dispersed throughout the world when their temple was destroyed and their land stolen in AD 70?

What nation gathered itself together in the land that was originally stolen from them and came back from the dead in 1948?

What book do we have because of the nation of Israel and because of the event 2006 years ago?

Jesus walked on this earth and we have testimony from the witnesses who knew him. If you have good sense, you will realize that we have advanced far enough in this day and age, to undestand that this really happened and we have Jesus' words today.

Seriously. There's just not enough love for the hypothetical entities these days. Whatever happened to proper etiquette? I'll bet people don't even think to tip at the pearly gates, or to remember their coins for Charon, or whatever is applicable. They'd probably be sore losers when the grim reaper won their challenges, too.

politeness is never out of style. Just isn't used much. It is a learned behavior that many are not learning these days. It is a shame.

jesus is a nice enough dude but his followers can be a real pain in the *** and you sometimes forget about jesus altogether, you just wanna slap them in the face

First Jesus needs to ask, an old book from an absentee "God", or more correctly - a son of a God does not cut it.

I do it all the time...don't you? Although I'd like to be a perfect Christian, I find myself saying "no" to Him more often than I care to think about it.

Everytime I'm selfish...or greedy...or hateful...or put a sock on my cat's head...aren't I saying "no" to Jesus?

Maybe they're not saying "no, thank you" to Jesus. Maybe they just say it to annoying people who push their convictions on them at every turn.
