Young hippie here, raised by old hippies... *lol*

I think it's a good idea, though I doubt many others will go along with it.

But I'll start. Hi! I'm Girl Wonder. You can call me GW. I'm 19, Unitarian Universalist, and a film student. I like pirates, pot, lord of the rings, star wars, and rock and roll. :D

Anyone is free to IM me whenever they want, to debate, ask questions, or just talk.

    "Screw You, Hippie"

    Man, I love Cartman.

I don't think we hate anyone (well, except for the hippies) we just want to share our views. No matter what they are. You are sure to find someone on here that has similar ideas.

Though sometimes a person will ask a question and back it with a piece of trivia that is neither fact nor useful and tout about how superior they are. Then you have to rip them.

Hi from another old hippie. Peace be to all. Yes now would be a good time. The question is HOW?

I thought I was the only ol' hippie left. Some of the questions and responses are down right crewel. The only thing I can think of is to try to respond gently, compassionately and honestly. I avoid asking and answering items that are designed to provoke. Glad yer out there.

When..I think of all the worries

    people seem to find.

And how they're in a hurry

    to complicate their mind.

    By chasing after money.

and dream that can't come true

I'm glad that we are different

    we've better things to do

    May others plan their future,

    I'm busy lovin' you..

Definitely- there's far too much anger and hate in the world. Unfortunately some people are so brainwashed that they'll just keep hating, no matter how much you try to reason or co-exist with them.

If someone's entire thought process, their religion, is geared totally to your distruction, no amount of kindness is going to change it. It won't make you a bad person though, unless of course through your kindness you are negligently exposing yourself or others to harm. :)

I couldn't agree more "old hippie"! There's far too much negativity in here as far as I'm concerned.

    Nice question! :)

My favorite hippie....Hi! If anyone wants to get to know me, just check my 360 page. Peace, love, flowers, Katrina-related rants and little black kitty cats... time enough for love... Drink deep... smell the patchouli.

Hi, Bergice! I think you are cool just the way that you are. We might not agree on everything, but I like you because you are always respectable to everyone from what I can see. Have a great day!

  • I think that is a great idea and I for one am willing. Others here I fear are only out to tease, torment, and make themselves feel better about themselves. Let us hope they are not the majority.

    Peace Be With You,

    Debra
