Who else thinks the Media is just looking for a story?
It's got me thinking, all this talk of heatwaves is just media hype....
Just like the MILLIONS predicted to die of 1. birdflu, 2. SARS, 3.AIDS 4. Varient CJD, 5. Rotweiller attacks 6. Spanish flu 7.heatwaves caused by Global warming, 8. Freezing conditions....caused by, yes, global warming, 9.Mobile phone handsets or transmitters frying your brain 10. al qaida & W.M.D.s
It's a sad state of affairs when 'David Beckham's injury' can come before & get a bigger coverage than '6 people killed in Iraq'.
Is the media corrupt? Have they been 'bought' by the government to mislead us? Or are they just giving us what we want - death & destruction?

Yes with the media now it's story 1st Truth second making the truth worthless as by then the mud has stuck, and yes what makes news headlines gets me aswell, 1st Wayne Rooney injury 9 weeks before the world cup starts Top Story then a suicide bomber in iran kills 20, 2nd news story then thirdly your 10 world problems of which start from the organisation called W.H.O (Not the band or the Dr) We should learn ''DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE'' It got me asking is Knowledge still power....

Always. If you have ever been close to something that reaches the media, you will know that the story is exaggeraged and sensationalised beyond recognition. As has been said many times the motto is "never let the truth get in the way of a good story"

Is Angelina pregnant again? How much did "Pirates" make this weekend? What song woke up the astronauts in the morning? There is so much to keep up with. It was raining and we saw a puddle should we call in the national guard? It was hot outside and it was summer! A-h-h-h-h I just can't keep up. Will we ever hear real news again?

They are in the business of selling mouthwash to make money. The paper/station is the vehicle for selling. They also hire a lot of incompetent people. Think about it.

I get mad cause the news people keep reporting the same material over and over and over..I am sure there is more to report..
