I have a 94 Acura Integra. Twice this week, after starting the car, the RPM's went down and it stopped.?

It started immediately afterward, but this is a nuisance that I don't want to get worse! I changed the oil two weeks ago, but could probably stand a tune-up.

Any ideas?

    Tune up should help.

    Change fuel filter also.

and have injectors cleaned or run some injector cleaner through your fuel system.

im an integra proprietor myself. I certainly have a 1999 integra gs. and the reason u lost is because of the fact the gsr has one hundred seventy horsepower and the 2001 6 cylinder eclipse has practically 240. i might placed a vtech engine which provides like 20 horsepower and placed greater effective headers and a fat air clear out. and the integra is a million.8 liter engine whilst the v6 eclipse is 3.0. so it has a bigger engine meaning greater torque and skill. he probable did not even beat you by using that lots on account which you put in all those advantageous factors. the main rationalization why hw beat you grew to become into larger engine, v6, and had greater horsepower. my brother has a 1997 mitsubishi eclipse GS-T spyder and its quicker. he beats my automobile for all time because of the fact i havent placed something in it yet. in simple terms save rebuilding your engine and placed stable areas and youll be at once.

A tune-up is a good idea. Use some injector cleaner. This sounds like the first signs of the cat-converters stopping up, though.
