My Cork Is Stuck!?

I'm kind of inexperienced when it comes to booze so this is kind of embarrassing. I opened a bottle of wine with my fancy corkscrew (the kind with the handles that go out as you screw in, then push the handles down and the cork comes out) and did it flawlessly. Now, I can't get the %^$& cork off the corkscrew and I'm expecting company which means more wine. Help!

Update:

Thanks for those who gave helpful responses. I did try the unscrewing thing--I have a graduate degree and I figured that was the logical thing to do--but I'm an old lady and a little wimpy in the strength department. The soaking thing and the knife ared both good alternatives. I'll try them. Whew! Was I panicking!

Flip the handles up, and it should expose the cork so you can unscrew it off the corkscrew part.

Otherwise, take a sharp knife and start cutting away at the cork, it will eventually fall into enough pieces you can get it off the darn thing.

Now that some corks are synthetic materials, this can be a hassle!

Your vagina is an elastic tube with an rather small dimple the place the cervix enters. The cork shouldn't circulate up into your uterus till you these days had a toddler. So what you do is sit down on the bathroom and rock forward and attain up into your vagina inclusive of your index finger and thumb. you would be waiting to entice close it and pull it out. I advise you no longer use any gadgets that are going to come back aside in products .

lift the handles in the original position and screw the cork off of the corkscrew in a counter clockjwise position.

You should be able to simply unscrew it. Or else, just chop away at it with a knife until it falls off. Your cork will be ruined, but who cares.

Get a knife, and carefully cut the cork off the cork-screw, silly. :-))

    Enjoy your evening :-))

It is my experience that by the time you get the cork out of a bottle of wine, you *need* a drink! :-))

grab it with your teeth (unless you have false teeth) and twist it off... then spit the cork out before you drink your wine
