All you fashion buffs...tell me if it is OK to wear linen shirts to work?

Yes, it's ok. Especially in the summer. Just make sure it's a nice looking shirt more suited for the office (think 'dress for church')

Linen breathes better than most fabrics, and is actually considered a more expensive material than cotton or polyester. Poly by the way can't breathe worth a dung, so avoid polyester clothes in the summer.

If the linen shirt is to see through (if you can see the color of your chest hair, or if you can see your nipples through the shirt) then you need to wear a sleeveless (form fitting and tucked in) 100% cotton undershirt under the linen one. It's just proper to do so.

I work in an office and linen is ok if you can't see the bra through it. Linen of color is cool, but white linen - can be seen through.
