My cousin has a ghost living in her home, How do we find the history of the home online???

Legally no, there's nothing you can do to the agent. A house is a house and it's her job to sell it. Unless there were physical defects with the house that she did not disclose to you, there are no grounds.

You can look up the County Property Appraiser in your area and see if there is a history of the house online. You can also try searching the local newspaper archives for your address over the past 26 years to see if your home was included in a murder investigation, or in an obituary. (Some newspapers will charge you for access to their archives.)

Other than that, have you tried actually speaking with the spirit yourself and telling her it's time to move on? Light a white candle in the area she's most likely to stay, burn some white sage and tell the spirit that it is time for her to move on, and to go home. Tell her the candle will light her way. State aloud that "This house is now clean," as you move the white sage through the rooms.

If this does not work for you, let me know privately and I will go in myself (astrally) and remove the spirit to her rightful home. Yes, I can do this, I do it often, it just takes a hell of a lot of energy.

Most likely the realtor will not be liable for supernatural occurence in a home. The matter of ghosts is subjective. I would go to the the city and request the title records of past owners. Get in contact with the realtor and ask her help on this matter. If its really a ghost call a paranormal investigator.

It's very likely only something pretending to be a ghost.

It is illegal to sell a home without telling the proposed buyer a murder happened there. Laws like that came about after Amityville.

However, just because there is an entity in the house doesn't mean there was a murder.

If it is a ghost, it needs peace to attain heaven.

Try and type in the address in a search. Or if the house has a name, like "the Oakwood mansion" check that out. Look up the town history, or try newspaper archives. (You may need to take a trip to the library!)

There is a little place called the Library which may be somewhere near you. You may want to try microfilm, although that could be a long and frustrating task.
