Do you believe that love is all you need?

I be live that if everything we do is motivated out of love for the all the earth and all our fellow men and women, then we will truly try our best to act to help our planet and the all of the human race to all become better then it is and we are and we will truly try and do it as perfectly as we can. Then everything will get dealt with as properly as it can be and everything will work out as well as we can make it, SO long story short love is our best bet, and it is all we need, truth, goodness, kindness, honesty, perseverance, greatness, invention, technology even intelligence and everything else coming about as best as it can be because of it.

Love is not all you need and a lot of people who think that end up losing in love. First, it is very difficult sometimes to identify if we're in love or if it's something else. Irregardless, you cannot have a successful relationship without a certain amount of trust, compatibility and communication.

Love isn't such a undefined and undefinable word used to catagorize a conglomerate of positive feelings and attitudes.

Romantic love, maternal love, love of friends, love of pets, enjoyment of activities or states of being...

I think people need COMFORT more than love, a state of tranquility, and this is what we need to strive for in all societies.

Trust is all you need. Love without trust can only become pain. Hate with trust is at least reliable.

You definitely need more than love. I got married for love and found out years later that love doesn't pay the bills nor does it raise children or talk to you.

well, obviously in order to *survive*, you need air, water, food, shelter, warmth... as well as the money to get all of those.

but various forms of love (which should ideally include that trust, honesty, open communication, and open mindedness you mentioned), which includes loving *yourself* & accomplishing wonderful things in life, is all you need to be *happy*. =)
