It's okay if what other people believe does not suit you, as long as you respect that they believe it. I don't know what it is that you don't like about the Jewish culture because you weren't specific about that, but I'd like to share with you some of the things that I do like.

There is a tradition of debate that keeps Judaism more open-minded and helps it to evolve positively.

Education is of the utmost importance.

We don't put focus on an afterlife, but on living a respectful life now for it's own sake, not for the reward of heaven.

The food is wonderful. (except Gefilte fish...I don't like that part of the culture either lol)

We emphasize how sad war and death are no matter what. On Passover there is a section of prayer that repents for the fact that our enemies died in the plagues and the crossing of the red sea.

Rabbi means "teacher," not dictator, or holier than though.

We do not push our religion on others, but instead warn them about how anti-semitism can affect their lives and that being a good Jew is a responsibility.

I would also invite you to realize that Jewish culture varies from place to place. I grew up in Los Angeles, where I loved the culture. When I went to Long Island I found that the Jewish culture was very different and I didn't have nearly the same respect for it. Just like when I see Jerry Fallwell on TV it makes me sick, but when I go to Chistmas Mass with my bast friend's family I am touched by the community spirit. There are all different kinds of Jews.

You didn't write what they're asking. You should add that in detail so that people can understand exactly what you're asking about.

I have a similar problem. I don't hate Jews, but there are many things in their culture and religion that I dislike and I definitely don't agree with them on anything in relation to Israel and its actions. That doesn't mean that I can't have Jewish friends though. I can get along with them fine and some Jews are nice people. We'd just have to stay away from certain subjects I guess.

There are both nice and bad things in every culture, so even though you dislike some things in their culture, that doesn't mean you can't find anything that you'd like in it.

The problems is, sometimes if you criticize Jews or say you don't like something about them or their culture, you'll immediately be called anti-semitistic, followed by references to the holocaust and how bad everyone has been to them in history etc. It's a taboo to say anything against them, so be ready for that if you say you don't like their culture. They might not react nice (depends on what kind of people they are).

more moderen Bibles have Jewish remark in them. Christians are only to stuck up in this falsely translated King James version. you won't be able to conceivable learn about God with no need some type of Hebrew depending bible. because of the particular undeniable reality that the historic Hebrews wrote and spoke Hebrew and that Hebrew can carry different meanings then in English.

how can you not like a certain culture? surely there are things you like

i do not like the things the Turks eat and the way they dress, but that does not mean I do not enjoy their architecture. try to find something small that you prefer in Jewish or Arab cultures, or just learn to have a good time with your friends regardless of backgrnd

If you don't hate Jewish people but don't like their culture:

    1) You don't have to like their culture. Nobody is asking you to be a part of it.

    2) You may want to double-check that you understand their culture before deciding that you don't like it.

I share this thought with you, I don't hate jews, but I dislike thier culture. I don't know why. Probably because the first jew I saw was the orthodox type, I freaked out, by such strangeness.

    They are asking... what?

And what the hell does it mean, "I don't like their culture"? What's not to like? Can you explain yourself, it is way too weird for me?

Don't ever say you don't like anything about Jews because that's antisemitism, which is what Hitler was all about.
