How many people on this web site would consider themselves a true Christian?

I do. I believe whole heartily in the Lord. I follow the teachings of Jesus and the Word of the Lord. My life is a reflection of that. I treat others with love and compassion, I help where needed, and I have learned to forgive.

I do find it difficult to be a "true Christian" on this site sometimes though.

I most certainly am a true Christian and I will gladly explain why.

My Christianity has nothing to do with what I do and everything to do with what Jesus did on that cross. I have no faith in myself.. I have faith in Jesus.

As I walk with him my love grows and so does my want to be like him. Many sinful things I did just faded away and some others I had to really work at. Still endless more I will discover as I walk.

So yes I am a true Christian because I believe that Jesus is big enough to save me.

I think I've seen maybe two or three poeple on this board I would even consider "True Chrstian." And I know at least a few of those who said, "me!" are most deffinately not.

I still mess up. I'm still missing out on things He said and did. I'm still not following in His footsteps to the best of my ability.

But, I choose Him. I believe in Him and His ability to save anyone who's willing to give Him a try. I'm trying to follow. I have a passion for it. I see the light and I'm trying to shine it around.

I was once an athiest, but then Jesus found me. If you seek, you'll find Him too. You won't regret one moment of it.

Not me, I TRY to be a true christian, But Jesus said

"all have fallen short of the glory of god"

We as humans are not and can not be perfect.

If you believe that Jesus Christ died to redeem your sins, then you will be saved. We are all sinners and we do many nasty things all day long, so it would be impossible to get into Heaven with deeds alone.

If we all sincerely try to live as God intended, and accept Him in our hearts, then i believe we count as 'true Christians'.

I'm trying my best to be one :)

NONE of us christians are "true" christians> we are lying if we say we are> we are all filthy sinners that have a LOT of work to do>

There is no such thing as true christian its either believers or sinners.

I've accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior, been washed in His blood, and do my human best to live as He would have me to live. But I'm not perfect by any means. He's still working on me. : )
