he should see his dr. ASAP. the symptom you present could be an indication of poor blood circulation, diabetes, extreme stress and/or anxiety, or depression.

Sounds like he has a vitamin deficiency. I suggest get him some good multivitamins plus an extra pill that contains Vitamin B and a tablet of Folic acid daily. Make sure he has a good balanced diet. Do take this seriously because vitamin deficiencies cause a lot of problems in the long run but if treatted can be greatly beneficial. See if this regimen works and if the problem is still there after a month, go see a neurologist.

There are many neurological disorders that could cause the symptoms you described. Get your boyfriend to see a neurologist who will be able to diagnose with the intelligence and education the doctor spent ten years of medical education has.
Your boyfriend could have nothing serious or it could anything. Best to let the medical professional help you correctly to find the answers you seek.

Could be any number of things - from diabetes (poor circulation) to a trauma injury or something neurological in nature. Regardless, prompt medical advice is in order.

I agree that it may sound a little like diabetic/circulation problems. He should go to a doctor.
