I love "Get Fuzzy". It makes me laugh out loud.?

What criteria should I use to compare the evil-ness of Bucky to the evil-ness of my own cat? (Just wondering how mine measures up.)

Well does your cat speak English...? If not, I don't think you can really compare your cat's evil to Bucky Katt's evil. (I once stopped my cat from pouncing on a bird, and he looked at me with a look that plainly said, "What in the world did you do THAT for!?")

If Bucky ever realized what a good thing he has going for him in terms of Rob, and if he ever realized what a good loyal friend he really has in Satchel, his heart would just grow three or four sizes.

I guess they have to keep Bucky clueless in order to keep him evil. Even at that, he's just too stupid to be very successful at evil. The best he does is selfish and nasty.

Catbert (from Dilbert) on the other hand, is cruel, and knows it. His evil is of a different level entirely. Bucky is a lot more like the pointy haired boss, to draw the analogy.

True story: many years ago, I dropped by a friend's place, and he invited me to stay for some dinner; he was making chicken. He had a very young kitten, maybe just five or six weeks old. The cat could smell the chicken in the plates as we sat on the sofa watching tv, but he couldn't see it.

So the cat decided he was going to climb up my leg to get it and jumped up as far as he could go (which was only about to mid-shin) and DUG IN WITH ALL SIXTEEN CLAWS!

Now, I like cats. But I acted completely by reflex: I whacked him so hard he went flying across the room, and bounced off the wall, then picked himself up, shook his stunned little head and walked the other way.

My friend didn't see what the cat did to me. HE THOUGHT I hit the kitten just because it was begging! He grabbed the plate out of my hand and launched a flying drop kick at my head (which I just barely ducked.) Then he told me to get out and never come back!

(Three days later, he called to ask if the cat had scratched me, and I was able to explain, so we were still friends after that. He figured it out after the cat clawed HIM up.)

Anyhow, Get Fuzzy is great. Glad you like it, too!

I doubt that any cat can measure up to Bucky. He is evil & stupid. I have had cat's all my life & have never met a stupid cat.

I do love the strip, tho.

You need a dog to see how your cat interacts with it. If it is mean to the dog, you might have a Buckyish cat on your hands.
