cats give birth 60 -65 days after conception. You will know when your cat is ready to give birth as just before she goes into labour, she will become exceedingly restless just, this happened to my cat the night before she gave birth and in the morning we had four beautifull kittens. Make sure you have a box ready and keep putting her in it, otherwise she could have them anywhere, like mine did, in my suitcase! Good luck

A pregnancy lasts around 63 days in most cats, if you know when she was mated this will help if not it won't.
It sounds like she's near her time. Try putting her basket by the curtain, or even behind it. If she will not accept this, can you give her an old blanket, or large towel to bed down on in her chosen spot?
Try to leave her in peace, I know you are anxious, and probably excited, but she will be nervous, especially if it's her first litter.
Ensure she has a bowl of water handy, and a bowl of dried food, ahe may not eat, but it's up to her. All cats are different, but 99.99% birth absolutely fine with no help.

Have had many cats giving birth over the years, kittens arrive when they are ready.

Cat pregnancy is from 60 to 70 days. When did the cat get pregnant? Get her a cardboard box with an old towel in it. Most cats handle this on their own. If more than one hour elapses between kittens and she is still pushing, a vet may be needed. Have water for her to drink nearby.
While she is nursing she should eat kitten food too. It will help her take care of herself and make milk for the kitts.
After the kittens get a little bigger, you will need a litter box with short sides for them to crawl into. This will help Momcat train them. Ask vet if she or kittens should have vitamin paste.
And when the kittens are weaned--GET THE POOR THING SPAYED ALREADY.

When she is a day or so off giving birth she will find a dark and comfortable place for her to have the kittens. That's a sure sign. Could be longer than a day or 2, can't remember but you know it's imminent. Try and put a blanket in a box somewhere dark and quiet for her.

Hi, what cats tend to do which is normally a couple of days before the birth is that they tend to hide, it maybe under a bed or in a cupboard or behind a sofa, when she does this she will give birth within a couple of days just keep an eye on her and dont keep following her around, let her do her own thing, just keep an eye on her when she does give birth justi in case she needs help, blesssss

They usually know when things are imminent. It sounds like she's not far off
Have you offered her a nest (cardboard box) in a warm quiet place? She'll settle in there as soon as she feels the need.
Cats tend to like privacy but stay on hand as they can get into big trouble fairly quickly. Once she takes to her nest (she may even construct one of her own in your wardrobe-so be aware) look in on her every quarter of an hour or so, but try not to interfere unless she needs it. Instinct will kick in. She should be fine
I hope all goes well for you.

It takes exactly 65 days for a cat to give birth. If shes trying to make a bed to give birth try making her one and placeing it in a "acceptable" area.By "acceptable" I mean her feeling its acceptable.Whereever she constantly returns to is her chosen delivery location. If its her first litter get ready to play mama to her,she will get as scared as some women do on first time and her labor hurts just as bad as ours do.In her fear she will run around trying to figure out whats going on with her and drop kittens all over the house. So for her own good and your peace of mind I suggest trying to keep her in bedroom with you or pinning her in a small room with no accessable spots to climb into and hide.Get ready for that 3am delivery too lol.
I actually had a female jump on me in my sleep and start having them on my chest..........imagine waking up to that??? Good Luck :)
