I'm so sorry about your puppy! It's best to ask your vet about what to do. I would try to disinfect everything the pup came in contact with. I don't know how long that germ can live on surfaces. I know that the parvo germ can live on the ground outside for a long time. Any stray that passes through your yard that has it will spread it. I don't know if distemper is the same way.

They are right, you have to bleach yard and house. Where ever the puppy was and where ever you walked afterwards. Its the only way.. Your grass looks really bad for a while but at least you will have done your next puppy a favor.

particular!!!!!!!!! back in (i've got faith) the 80's Parvo grew to become rather rampant. Breeders I knew have been dropping doggies often. Over right here few years the "Parvo" vaccine became stepped forward....until it became "perfected", doggies have been nonetheless death. in this time I had a clutter settlement Parvo...lost one domestic dog. ultimately the ailment became plenty extra suited controlled. in simple terms final 365 days, one among our agility scholars have been given a youthful domestic dog from a safeguard....next day sick....to the vet...died of Parvo 4 days later.... Vaccinate!!!
