Bottled water becomes bad tasting after opening?
I buy Aquafina brand bottled water. Often opening a bottle in my car. I may not take another drink of it for another day or two when I am in that car again. By then, the flavor has become bad-tasting.
Any way to bring back the good flavor again ?

if its been sitting there for a couple days in a hot car there is probably bacteria growing in there now. chuck it, or take it with you into the house and keep it in the fridge.

Other than distilling it, there is nothing you can do about the flavor.
Either there is something in your car that is getting in the bottle when you leave it open, or the plastic from the bottle is disintegrating.
The latter is probably the case. Please contact Aquafina so they can address it. They will send you free coupons to replace.

I wouldn't risk it. I actually got my daughter's sore throat drinking after her from a bottle that had been several days in the car. (I'd forgotten it was hers! Duh!)
Once the seal has been broken and you, or anyone else, has had a drink, that's a golden opportunity for bacteria to infiltrate and thrive (especially if it's "cooking" in a warm car).
When I "forget" about a partially finished bottle and it smells off, I use it to water my houseplants. At least it's not totally wasted.

Maybe you just don't like warm water? Just put it in the fridge and recool it. That's what I do to open bottles of water and never noticed any funky taste.

It gets hot in a car, and that causes the water to go bad.
And anyways, two days is a long time.

I Would Keep It In The Fridge Try That One.
