Removed Question!?

I had a question removed! Why? It ended over a week ago and it did not breach any of Yahoo's regulations as far as I know! It was just basically a question asking for some help in understanding the mechanism of pain! I don't understand why they remove questions that are harmless, yet they keep up questions that are rude, racist, and offensive to others. E.g. the numerous, non stopping questions about Muslims!

Update:

I think yahoo should give you a reason why they remove questions. Not just remove it and say nothing!

I know what you mean, the exact thing happened to me.I asked the same thing but nothing...

I think it is because of people who report abuse just like that.

Just read an answer where he actually admits that he likes to report abuse and he tries real hard to find something wrong about the question.

I'm sorry, you can always complain to yahoo.

    I wish you good luck!

I know!! This happened to me twice already, yet I see alot of inappropriate content that arent removed. The only plausible reasone that I can think of is somebody is being a jokester and reporting random people and because I doubt Yahoo has people that sit here and read all the reported stuff they just delete all of them. I mean c'mon the two questions I got deleted was one asking about suggestions of summer programs in hawaii and the other one asking who exactly che guevara was. The last one I could possibly understand because of Guevara's role in politics but that still doesnt really make sense when I think about it.

If Yahoo remove a question because it had been reported for some reason, they always tell you and remove points at the same time.

Recently there have been a lot of glitches in the system so this could be just another one.

I got a mail from Yahoo at the weekend saying one of my answers had been removed for breach of the community guidelines. It was a simple answer which could not have upset anyone and yet they threaten me with the possibilities of all my yahoo stuff being taken away from me and docking me points. I have complained to them asking exactly how I broke the rules and on what grounds they deem my response inappropriate.

    I bet I don't hear a thing from them.

I don't understand this either. Last week I answered an ask by, basically in my view, a golddigger. She was asking YA for legal advice on her "partners" divorce settlement. They had only been separated for just over a year which meant this female was calling him "partner" after such a short period of time. Weird. The figures she was talking about also suggested that her "partner" could well afford his own lawyer to advise him. This was my answer to her and I got reported for harrassment. If you ask me she was upset someone had seen her for what she was. The question was deleted also so I couldn't even find her to let her know I thought she was a fanny. This was my response:

"You need legal advice, a bit of a gamble thinking there would be legal eagles wasting time on here. See your CAB or free consultation with someone like Ross Harper. But with that kind of money I would assume you would have your own lawyer who could answer this. You've only been together for just over a year and you are calling him "partner"?? It would appear to me you have too much interest in his financial situation. I would advise you to mind your own business."

Thats what they do though. Its very unfair. Im sick of not getting all the points for my best answers that come in. They are cheating me. Who knows why yahoo does most of the things they do. They want us to go by their guidelines, but they need to do the same. This site is getting more and more screwed up everyday.

Probably because the concept of pain is offensive to Muslims and one rogue durka durka basher saw it and whined - they now have 3 houses, 5 cars and £5million in compensation as it affected their belief system.

Eye to eye, dear. Report as many of those questions as you can. My answer to one question got removed and it had nothing offensive about it. But some religious fanatic took offense and reported it. So now I report as much offensive crap as I can. Feels good!

But complaining to Yahoo won't get you anywhere, as they lack even sufficient manners to acknowledge your communication. Censorship here is more or less arbitrary and non-negotiable.
