The game here is to state your opinion in a way that it can be deemed a question. You really don't want differing opinions, really your looking for acceptance of your ideas and opinions.
Part 2 of the game is to bash the heck out of the question asker in a way that either you look like a complete nut-case and wacko, or in a way that the question asker really isn't sure if you just insulted them or not.
Part 3 is to ask and answer in a way that you have insulted the question asker and/or the subject of their question completely and totally, but not in a way that the "answer Nazi's" will spank your hand and delete points from you

I take Yahoo Answers seriously, and I think:
The only dumb question is the one that is never asked.
Whenever I write an answer I try to make it the best answer that I can. I look to put in links when I can and unless it is a question on my opinion I always check my facts so I don't lead someone astray.
However, sometimes the simplest questions can be the most important. A 23 old woman asked, "How do you have sex?" I find it hard to believe that someone her age didn't know how, but if she was honest, and I can only assume that she was, she had a large gap in her knowledge. I try to take even the "dumb" questions seriously, because what may seem dumb, to you and me, could be very important to someone else. I have had a few very simple and basic questions like this and I have seen that person treated very badly (bashing). I have also seen people submit their papers for critique and only get trash answers. Most of these questions are not stupid ones or hoaxes, they are real questions from real people who are trying to learn something.
I also try to be polite in all my answers, even when the person is just saying something to be offensive. I found a person like this just last week. He created an ID of DeathtoAmerica and went on a rampage asking very offensive questions, trying to pass himself off as an Iraqi. I caught on to him and not only did I report him to Yahoo as a fraud, but I took the time to inform all those people who tried to give him a valid answer. I hate people like this, they destroy the spirit of the board and I am glad that Yahoo removed some of his questions.
I only bash those people that deserve it. I report those that don't give a proper answer or are just gaming, even though often Yahoo ignores any reports made.
I have come up with a Yahoo Answer on a Google Search. Yahoo started this board to be something interesting and to help them generate revenue, but it has turned into so much more. Run properly this board can be a great source of information and opinions. Not just for those who ask and answer the questions, but also for those who come back years later looking for those same answers.

The main point of Yahoo! providing this site is the opportunity to bash anomalously.
Good for the participation, good for the ad placement, good for the venting, and good for the chance, that one out of a million may agree with a stated opinion.
It was never meant to be a handholding gathering of like minds.
Just chaos.
Chaos sells...

I'm with you . It is a shame we have to read so many questions that the answers are either readily available with a little research or are simply absurd. I enjoy reading the good questions, but most are a waste of time.

it would be a pleasant change if that would happen I thought it was just me that noticed all the bashing in here, and some of these questions are a joke.

Well, politics and religion, as always in the past, and the future, will be like that.
Both subjects are built on faith, fear, hate, etc...total emotional twisters.
You don't see people getting all worked up over in the math section, do you?

OK, here's one for you. Have you noticed how many of the worst bashers have suddenly disappeared? I mean the bashers on both sides. Seems to me that Yahoo has suspended a whole lot of them and now they have to start over.

Well you got it started by actually spelling an eleven letter word correctly.
