Toolbar problem..?
I seem to have lost the address box for URL's which has always been below my toolbar in IE, It must have dissapeared yesterday. I cant find any settings to get it back, so meantime I can't type in URL'S or copy any. Anyone know how to restore it?? Thanks (XP)

Open Internet Explorer. Go to View in the menu. Go to Toolbar> Select Address bar and Unslect Lock the toolbars.

right click ur mouse on the empty area near the help menu (not on the help menu ) click on the address and make sure that there is a check mark on the address bar, if u want to move the4 address bar , right click ur mouse on the empty area near the help menu and remove the check mark on the lock the toolbar, then u can adjust anything on the tool bar and then lock the tool bar again so that the address menu and the other menu will not be messed up,

Just right click on the page (were the address bar usually is)...Make sure that address bar is checked/ Under View on menu options go to toolbars and make sure that address bar is selected

Click on view. Then in the submenu click on Toolbar and then on Address bar. This will bring back your address bar.

Try this :
click on view
click on toolbars
click on address bar
It should add your address box that has gone missing.

to quit this from happening, you good click the job bar and click residences. Then, you bypass to the taskbar tab and uncheck "group comparable Taskbar Buttons" maximum folk view this as a convenience using fact it places all the domicile windows of an analogous variety in one slot on the job bar. this protects a great variety of room and makes multi-tasking plenty extra handy.

If it's Windows ME or XP, you should be able to get your settings back to the way you want by using system restore. ie-Press start-programs- accessories-system tools- system restore then chose the date you want to restore to.
