What are the best sources for information on war dead, specifically Burma Railway victims in WWII?

Just got back from Thailand and i randomly chose a war grave of a Gunner William Banks, Royal Artillery, and posted a memorial to him on my blog:

    I think it will take some searching. Two good places to start are web searches for ww2 veterans and ww2 in Burma.
