I need help fast. Is Amazon.com a safe place to buy from??????????
I have been looking for a charger for a 18 volt. DeWalt battery for a recipatating saw( aka, Sawsall) and everywhere I have looked they were 50 bucks and up until I hit Amazon.com and they have one from ToolKing for $11.99.
I have always been the type of person that figures if something sounds to good to be true, it probably is, but I thought this was a straight up company. What gives here? Is it for real or not? The picture looks just like the rest of them has for the same charger???????
I am going to trust in ya'lls answers.
Thanks for the help.
God Bless
Dennis

Yes, Amazon is as safe as the rest, Toolking, is a discounted retailer. Sort of like a Big Lots or other discount store-that is why they can sell it cheaper. You will have extra safety going through Amamzon, just read the feedback left for them and pay with credit card if you can..

I've ordered a ton of things from Amazon.com and never had any trouble. Just read the fine print to make sure you know you are purchasing the correct item.

100% reputable site. It's the busiest online shopping website in the world. i buy things from there all the time. If you do happen to have a negative experience, they have feedback forums/ways to report disputes. I guarantee you won't have a problem though. Check out the website: http://www.bizrate.com/ratings_guide/cust_reviews_...
I can't find the article where I read the information, but that site is helpful.

AMazon is a trustworthy place to shop, but it sounds to me like you would be buying a used fone for a 3rd party seller. They let shoppers sell their used items from their site. Read very carefully who the seller is. You may end up getting a great deal on a slightly used item of that is something you would consider buying.

Absolutely. One of the best Internet merchants out there.
I've been an amazon.com customer since they first started doing business. I've never had a problem with an order nor with my credit cards.

Good, and a Holiday saver for me!
The only advice I would say, as with any time you put a credit card on the computer... make sure you've got good security, and keep an eye on the purchases. Good luck, have fun.

yeah it is really safe. I think buying something off Amazon is just as safe as going to the shop. You are buying it off a company (amazon) and not buying it off another person (ebay).

Amazon is definately safe.
Is it used?, sometimes used products are significantly lower price than normal.
Make sure the description is for exactly what you need.
Also, I'm pretty sure Amazon is cool with returns.
