Free software that does it for you -- check it out.

p.s. I just installed that program and looked at it. It looks extremely simple to use. Click the little question mark in the upper-left hand corner when you start. It opens a little window that lays out the whole process on how to use the program, all in a few paragraphs.
I was beginning to tell you how to do it the long way. I'll leave what I was writing so you can just get a picture of how much more work it would have been. I still hadn't gotten to setting the recording levels, editing, and splitting the tracks, when I realized how difficult it would be for a first-timer, so I just started searching stuff on the internet, and found that.

What I originally started writing before I found the above link:
Ok. The sound cables from your game console need to go to your computer, instead of your TV or sound system. But most people's sound cards only have a line-in outlet. It only fits 3.5 mm jacks. You need something like this.

The red and white audio cables go into the two holes, then you can put the jack into your line-in outlet. Radioshack will definitely have this where they keep all the little component pieces, but you could go to Wal-Mart too, in the electronics department. You could get one with short cords like this one, or the cords could be longer, or you could even get one like this.

The thing is to make sure you can plug two rca cables into it, and there's a 3.5 mm jack on the other side. It's probably $2-3.
Now something that concerns me is how are you going to get music to start playing on the game? If you have a TV in the same room as your computer, you might be able to have the yellow video plug going into your TV while you still have the sound cables connected to your computer. That would mean you could see what you're doing in the game, but the sound would still be traveling to your sound card for you to capture if you wanted.
You need a program like Audacity (a free audio editor) to record and edit the sound. You would basically start recording a station and then let it play all the way through. If it was me, I wouldn't worry about recording too much, or starting it off at the right place, because you can edit the recording when you're done.

even in spite of the undeniable fact that GTA 4 is a large activity, it is going to not in any respect beat sturdy ol san andreas. GTA 4 would have the seen income, in spite of the undeniable fact that the quantity a belongings you may do in san andreas is a surprising purchase more beneficial than GTA 4, this makes san andreas a lot more beneficial pleasing it is why any universal individual who buys a activity, buys it to be entertained. i develop into fairly dissapointed with GTA 4 it is why i traded it in.

I would get the list of the songs from the game (you should be able to get the entire list somewhere in the menu). Then I would just get all the songs from limewire and then burn it on a cd. Of course this is assuming you have a Cd burner.

It is for sale. All the different stations are sold as different CD's. You can find them at Best Buy for sure. I'd imagine Circuit City would also carry them too. If you live in a small area just check eBay.

Download the blast4ed Soundtrack for free from Limewire or Morpheus or any other free downloading site you can think of.... It's the only way to get good quality sound. If you try to rip the music from the playstation you wont get what you want!!!

Yes you can listen to them in the car, but also you can go to the audio menu in the pause menu and listen to them from there without any other noises.
