    In my own experience yes

    Im still completely in love with a girl that I know at this moment I have no chance with, but me and her have a good past and she even admitted herself that she would like to get back together in the future, so my heart decides on its own to wait for her even though if i think about it the best thing to do is move on. So yea, my heart in no way listens to my brain.
