Have you ever noticed how vicious some of you guys are?

Wow, you've already got 10 thumbs up to 7 thumbs down. I think people are mostly good. The Bible says we are created in the image of God, which is naturally good. But Paul says we are born sinners in need of redemption. That seems to contradict the previous statement, don't you think? When was the last time you saw a baby hit someone because they loathed the person? Doesn't happen. So, I think people are naturally good, with a few bad tendencies. Mostly. And I know everyone sins, but I don't think many deserve to go to Hell.

I'm not sure what the question is.

If it is "have you noticed", yes, I've noticed.

If it is "are they really going to hell", I can't answer that because I'm a pastafarian and we don't have a hell. I believe if I were Jewish I would say that people make their own heaven or hell right here on earth, and viciousness in answering yahoo questions might be an indication that they're already in hell.

If the question is "Should you feel sorry for people who you beleive are going to hell", then given that you have a certain belief about what hell is like, people who have a similar belief system probably agree with you.

You might try posting something like this in the religion section as well as the polls and surveys section.

I am going to say my piece here and you will probably report it but here goes...

When you post anything in a public forum such as this, you have to also be smart enough to know that you are going to get a wide range of answers, anything from kind to intelligent to rude to hostile..that's the way it is. If you don't want an answer, then you shouldn't put the question out there.

Not everyone believes in heaven and hell and those of us that do, know that the only one who can decide whether we will end up in hell is God himself and not some layman who is judging us.

We all know from the teachings that if a person repents, then he is forgiven. Do you know whether a person has repented or not that you all of a sudden wish or want them to go to hell?

I think that if you post anything on here, you have to be smart enough to realize you will get a variety of answers and some that you don't like. You either learn to accept that or quit posting if you are really that sensitive. Most people do this as a hobby because they are bored. They aren't looking to change the world. Some people answer humorously and yet they get violation notices because the other person is offended. One time I got violated because I answered yes to a questioneer asking if it was stupid of them to cheat on their spouse! Of course it was stupid but if you don't want the truth, then why ask? Did they want my permission to cheat when I know it's wrong? That's not going to happen.

So try to toughen up a bit and realize that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and as long as it is not grossly offensive or bigotted, anything goes. IN MY OPINION

I know what you mean. But some people do just act like that on the computer, maybe they don't have the guts to do it in real life or they're just mean because they want to get some anger out, and well it can actually be better if you yell at someone on the computer and not in real life because its not always personal and its not like you're going to meet the person. Not everyone who is mean on here is mean in person and same with not everyone who is nice in here is nice in person too.

It would be wonderful to say "no one deserves Hell", but we are human. And being human we are vengeful. Imagine this.... You have a 3 year old child who has been abducted, molested, and killed in the most brutal way imaginable. Do you want to imagine that you will have to share Heaven with the same person that committed this crime. It gives some satisfaction that if people are not made to pay for their crimes in this life, atleast they will have to pay for it in the next.

First of all, not every religion believes in hell, so you've lost support there. Second, not everyone believes in Jesus, so His opinions wouldn't help. Lastly, a lot of the people vent rage on "Answers" and others do it to irritate the heck out of people. They aren't evil, they're ignorant.

Not everyone believes in the bible or god. Alot of people are just giving you a brutally honest opinion with it being sugarcoated, alot of people do deserve to die, it may sound bad but its true, the thing with the internet is that you need to just get the point, not to overanalyze what someone has said.

To many kids on here lately that don't really care what you have to say. If they don't like it they'll report or thumbs down anyone for any stupid reason at all. Hopefully most of them will be gone back to school soon. Go look at Jennifer f's question too.

I agree with you, but I live with the fact that I so do hope most of these mean people do not act like this in public and the computer just brings out the devil in some.

best get used to it is my advice, cuz they ain't gonna change
