I'm making New Years Day dinner. What different kinds of pies can I make?

My favorite holiday is Grasshopper Pie...It is supper easy. It is a minty cold dessert so easy to make and always tastes really good. Start my making an Oreo Crust, best if you use mint oreos...just grind up, add a bit of sugar, and some butter. (save some of the crumb and partial cut up cookies to put on the top). Then for the filling..mix 2 pints of heavy whipping cream then had in one small can of marshmellow fluff...finally add in 1/4 cup creme de menthe to get the minty favor and green color....Put that in the crust, add the extra crumbs to the top, and place in the freezer until firm, but not really hard other it is too hard to cut and it. So yummy....I want some now =).

I made this excellent pie a week ago. I followed my husband's favorite pecan pie recipe, but after I had rolled out the pastry dough, discovered I was out of pecans! So I threw in walnut halves. It turned out great, and we both agreed that it was better this way!
