Is anyone here from the early days of Yahoo! answers?

Well,I've been here since April 5th. I've seen people come and go...reappear and then vanish again.

I've had a few times when I thought I would leave the site because of people cheating,playing favourites and being down right ignorant.But, I've decided to stay and try to help anyway I can.

There are some people on here I don't want to lose contact with,especially the friends on my 360.

I think the site is ruined by cheats such as londonsnumberonebsa and William H, who are either friends, and vote each others answers as 'Best Answers' or they are one and the same person who need to get a life. Whoever it is must think that the Yahoo Q&A folk are wet behind the ears and came down with the last rainshower. Even so, I don't think this site should be taken too seriously. I just enjoy it and am getting a little addicted.

This forum has been taken over by trolls and it has gotten worse since Yahoo shut down the news Discussion boards December 19 because all the troll from those sites have invaded Yahoo! Answers.

You should take a peek at all the offensive questions and answers in the Politics section. It's really pathetic.

I joined in May, 2006, I believe, but my memory of that time is not half as rosy as yours. As a Canadian I have had to endure answers to my questions from Americans who did not bother to check what category the question was posted in, and then they voted their silly responses as best!

btw WHAT'S WRONG WITH six year old kids participating here? If they can participate here at this young an age - I expect they must be geniuses.

dont let the profile date fool you, -(its a long story)-but i was added on 12/14/05..it was a fun and special place during the beta test cycle. at that time, there was no such thing as harassment, impersonations or points gaming..who knew one day Y!Answers was to become a global community? and popular with hollywood elite..from deepak chopra to al gore. and yes, lately ive seen steady increase of kids mocking answers..as well as the trolls turning answers upsside down..im still here, i will till i reach one billion points lol

Yes, it is much more common to be insulting now, there are a lot of punks.

I remember it being more civil.

So many, particularly Bushies, just lie and lie and lie.

Then, of course, the truth is horrible for them, and getting worse. If lying on the news were illegal, Fox News Channel would be off of the air, and then they would be forced to confront Bush's idiocy head on.

I have never experienced any thing bad with yahoo answers just yet,mind you it's been awhile since I've been on here.i started in september on question and answers.

im new but i completely agree...some people need to grow up...see my qustion about why people on here are so rude which i asked but a few mins ago
