The Food Network commercials?
I just saw a commercial on the Food Network for Armstrong cheese. At first I thought this was going to be a good commercial showing a lady with her cat until this rotten woman shoves the cat off of the table for going near her cheese. I am disappointed with the Armstrong Cheese company for allowing this sort of treatment of an animal.

It's a STUPID commercial, any cat lover will hate it. The commercial shows this old woman babying her at. The cat is obviously spoiled and gets a lot of love and attention from the old woman, until the cat goes near her cheese. Then the old woman shoves the cat off the table and hisses "the cheese is mine CAT" They even show the cat landing on the floor. To me, they could have accomplished the same thig by showing her sharing everything with the cat, even some gourmet fish or something, but when the cat tried to have some cheese, show the cat in a cat carrier or something and the old lady eating the cheese herself. She didn't have to shove the cat. it's stupid and I don't know how it ever got on the air. Who told them this would work? Oh yeah in the last part I think she is hugging the cat again. So their cheese makes you develop a split personality or something? LOL

My friend and I, who are not loving the concept of a cat or- any creature- on any dining surface would do the same.
I do not like eating cat litterbox remains.....do you?
Cheers!
P.S. cats don't like cheese.

I agree, but I have to push my kitties off the couch sometimes, but only in extreme circumstances. It doesn't hurt them at all...they usually see it coming. But it shouldn't be in an ad. If it was an annoying kid being pushed (far more tempting), Dr. Laura would be having a fit...

They sound pretty dumb to have created an ad like that, I'm sure they'll get lots of complaints, maybe you should contact them or the tv network.

I would agree. Don't know how we cat lovers (or animal lovers) should let them know that we don't approve.
