What is the deal with Pat Robinson?

Pat Robertson buried himself with his criminal remark that America should assassinate Venezuelan President, Hugo Chavez.

Pat Robertson is truly an idiot and I will never understand how anyone could take him seriously. How does such a lunatic acquire power and followers? Seems that his supporters must be just as nuts as him.

Well, you've answered your own question. Pat Robertson scoops out psycho BS. Perhaps those many years of promoting a hateful, vengeful, hostile, judgmental, holier-than-thou brand of Christianity finally unhinged his mind. The poor guy is only human after all.

No way. At least not in the beginning. Maybe now that he has been hearing the crap coming out of his own mouth for decades, and he's got ten million decrepit and biggoted old coots telling him he is the voice of God every day, maybe he does buy into it.

Since he makes it up, one can only assume that he doesn't believe it himself.

And he is therefore, one of the most vile humans on the face of the earth, imo. I mean, it's one thing to be an ignorant, and innocent follower. But it's another thing entirely to willfully lie and take advantage of people the way he does.

Pat Robertson does alot of good stuff, but he is a fascist and a lover of money.
