Just curious, which has been around longer, the Jehovah's Witness church, or the Pentecostal church?

i9 have a feeling that they were both considered cults not very long ago, along with Wicca

Update:

I didn't say they were cultstoday, just that 50 or so years ago, they were considered cults. Thank you pastor Chad.

The group that became JWs has been around since the 1870s. Modern Pentecostal movements started in the early 20th century, so I'd say JWs have been around longer. JWs are still considered a cult, but there are a lot of different branches of Pentecostalism, so you'd probably have to narrow it down a bit before you could say which groups adhere to traditional Biblical doctrine and which ones don't

The Pentecostal church had its birth in 1906 on Azusa St in California. Of course, one could argue that it had its birth on the day of Pentecost in the 1st century. Their beliefs are pretty orthodox, which cannot be said about JWs.

Doesn't matter who is older....they are both inventions from after the 1500's.....so neither is a true church!
