Mast Cell Tumor?
My cat in the picture has a Mast Cell Tumor. It's small, above his right eye. Does anyone have some info/advice on what to do? The vet want's to remove it, and I am in favor of thatt, but it is really expensive.

It is best that it be removed and biopsied to see if it is cancer and if it has invaded any underlying tissue. It could mean life or death for the cat - if it is in an early stage and not deemed agressive removal may be the end of the treatment or some radiation might be done.
Better to remove the tumor and find out than risk "removing" the cat from her life.

You do need to have it removed because those types of tumors will continue to grow and can wrap around vital tissues. It can also turn into a more malignant form of cancer if let alone. I know it is expensive, but if you love your cat and care for his health, you will have it done.
