Mine do that too sometimes... even when the speakers are off. Don't have the slightest clue why though.

Most likely your wires are picking up a signal.

Try taking the wires running to the speaker and make a small coil with each. Wind the wire around three fingers in a circle seven or eight turns. Secure this little coil with string ir tape so the loops stay in place. Put the little coil at the speaker end not at the computer end.

I hope this makes sense to you.

My speakers do that as well! I think it's because they're not very well designed and, to cut costs, they didn't put in the components required to block interference from radio waves. They were cheap, right? Unfortunately, blocking interference would require several electronic components to be added, which is hardly something that you could do in 10 minutes (unless you know a lot about electronics). If it really annoys you having a free radio then my advice would be to throw 'em in the trash and buy yourself a set that cost more than 5 bucks! ;-)

It might depend on how close you are to a radio transmission tower. If one is close, that may be your problem. If so, you may need a frequency filter. If you can identify the radio station, speak with them and they might provide you with a filter. You may need to speak to an electronics expert in your area, but try to find one that's knowledgeable with high power radio transmissions.

Just read Sparbles suggestion and is a good one. Try it and it just might work.
