How do I restrict my Kittens activites?

Question

My kitty broke his leg last month and had surgery on it the middle of this month. I was told by the vet that I had to limit his activites for 3 weeks. My kitty is only 4 months old, so it's kinda hard to do this. If anyone has any advice please let me know. SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE!!!!

Update:

He had surgery 1 week ago. His stiches are out, but we still need to limit his activities until his leg is fully healed.

You can keep the kitty shut up in the bathroom, with food, water, and a litter box, and there won't be much there for him to do.  Don't forget to give him some lap time now and again.

Put him in a dog crate/playpen as mentioned before. It has to be big enough for a litter box for him food/water bowl maybe something to do that doesn't require a lot of movement. And it should be in a splint/cast but needs to stay off it to heal correctly to the one who mentioned it. If you broke your leg and the dr. put it in a cast he tells you to stay off it does he not? And a constant diet of canned/wet food will kill your cat after it makes him extremely overweight. It wasn't the Fanct Feast that killed dudes cat it was the amount it probably ate. It is junk food for cats and should only be used as a treat.

Lock him up in a big dog kenel (the kind made for shipping) w/ a litter box, food, water, and give him attention when you get home. My cat was hit by a car, broke 3 ribs, so we put her in it for a month. She didn't sleep in at night, but she was restricted to that area during the day. Hope your kitty get better =)

I would think if he is in a cast or splint his activities would be somewhat restricted and he couldn't do himself much damage by moving about.  He may also tend to limit himself if movement is painful.

I would like to know this too.  I picked up my kitty from being spayed today and (she spent the night last night) she came home happy to be home jumping all over the place....and they said to keep her still.  IT IS NOT A HUMAN BABY.  I cannot do it.  help!  Please let me know what you learn.  Sorry I could not be any help. could luck to you

How about keeping them in a babys pen or crib that way they are restricted ans get to move about a bit too goodluck i no what they can get up too at that age

I cant answer your question, sorry but whatever you do do not feed your kitty Fancy feast It made my cat die because it is really bad for them. The vet even tkold us that it was because we fed him fancy feast
