Vocal cord problems!?
About 5 months ago, I was into a brawl with someone when they happened to put their hands around my throat. It took some time for me to break free of their grasp, and ever since then I have had a limited range of use of my vocal cords when singing. I am finding that some of the ranges that I use to be able to hit, are far harder than they use to be... if I am able to hit them at all. It feels that when I get to a certain note, my throat constricts and I am restricted to any further range. Does anyone know of any way that I can gain back my voice, or if it will eventually return? Somebody please give me some good news!

You've presumably had your larynx damaged, or possibly even fractured. It's definitely time to consult with an ear, nose, and throat doc to see if anything can be done. Good luck!

Have you gone to the doctor lately?
try this humming exersize.
like buzz your lips like your playing a trumpet or something.
then go up 5 notes and then down 5 notes, and then each time, go a note higher. this helps. but don't push it.
do it like once everyday and then slowly go higher and highger and u might get your voice range back. but do c a doctor just incase this person did something harmful.
