You're wrong about that. I am a Christian and I know without doubt that atheists, etc., can and do in many cases have exceptional intelligence. Actually, the reverse is more often the case. Christians are slandered for "despising science" and other erroneous accusations. But being in the light is not the same as being smart. It's a spiritual enlightenment, and not even becoming a blood bought, Spirit filled child of God eliminates all spiritual ignorance. Paul tells us that even we believers see "through a glass darkly," meaning that our knowledge of God is hazy at best. We don't see unbelievers as stupid at all. If belief in God were dependent upon intelligence, that would be a brutal disadvantage for almost every living person. Because we finite beings cannot fathom the infinite. So God gives us faith. If someone is telling you that you are stupid for not believing, they don't know their Bible.

A Muslim Womans Perspective:
When youre growing up in Islam, you dont question things and consequently `buy into` whatever your parents/teachers teach you.
When I grew up, I had a family that taught me what they thought was right, but also helped me question everyhting around me to come to better conclusions.
Islam does not say that those who dont follow it are in the dark.
Islam is a pathway, a road.
You start the road on the right track: believing in God, but taking responsibility for your actions.
No one in Islam is even guaranteed to go to heaven? Do you know why? Because if your actions arent sincere, clean, and away from harm to the rest of the world. You aint getting there. No matter whose religion youre in.

Counterfeit Christianity is in all threat the suited description i'm going to provide for a cult. Counterfeit Christianity is an imitation of tangible Christianity. Bible words like "Jesus Christ, Resurrection, Salvation, and Atonement" are utilized with the help of the Cult, however the countless cult communities have assigned distinctive meanings to those words. Like counterfeit money that's each and every so often confusing to discover, so it incredibly is confusing to discover counterfeit Christianity, by using fact it feels like the actual element. professionals analyzing counterfeit money usually carry it as much as a reliable gentle and seem for figuring out marks. Counterfeit Christianity additionally has figuring out marks, which will properly be considered whilst, held as much as a good better gentle, the gentle of God's be conscious, the bible. we are at an benefit if all of us comprehend what to anticipate from a cult. Cultists are very properly experienced to seem "Christian", and definitely have confidence they are the real church homes, and you like the deliverance! consequently, be ambitious and ask the question, "do you think the gang you represent is the only real church on the face of the earth?" in the event that they respond that they are, or in the event that they are evasive, making feedback like "properly, each and every church has a level of certainty yet...", you have made an early detection of a Cultist. each and every real Christian, if asked the comparable question, inspite of his denomination, might respond that the real church is produced from believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, and HE (no longer some employer) is the way, the actuality, AND THE existence, (John 14:6). No valid denomination might declare that they on my own and their contributors have salvation completely, however the cults (the counterfeits) do.

Christianity and Islam were both born of Judaism. Judaism developed in the enslaved people of the region. That idea of persecution and some divinly bestowed worth srvives today in how they treat each other and the rest of the world. For the ancient Jews to believe that they did not deserve to be enslaved (I'm not saying they did, just dicussing their mindset) they needed to believe that there wa something special about them that made them a target and that the same something special would come and save them from this torment. It developed into a "we are right you are wrong" mentality. As each group developed from there (Christianity and Islam), they were further entrenched with the idea that "we have found the right path to te one true God, you are screwing it up". From that came the violence and bloodshed and the "we are better than you" mentality. They find it hard to see that other religions do not believe that, most will tell you that other religions do, but, that too, is false. Most religions could care less what yours is and don't worry about a right or wrong answer. Most religions focus on the individual being a better person and serving their family and community in this life, not some god in the next. Many religions look to life after death, some don't at all. It is really hard for people of the Christian and Muslim faiths to see and understand that so they think that people who are not of their faith spend as much time thinking about converting them as they think about converting us. They think they are as important to us as we are to them. They don't get that the rest of us know what they believe and don't really care as long as they stop trying to shove it at us.

Just because christians chooses to not believe that we come from monkeys and giant lizards, that they choose to value life and traditional marriage does not make them to be brainwashed.
Christianity is not a cult no matter what the devil or other irreligious fools tries to get you to believe negatively about the christian faith.
Christians don't look at non-believers as being dumb or are morons but they do think that non-believers are lost without God and are very foolish in their ways.
I can't tell you much about Islam and the muslims who follow Muhammed but this much I do know about it and about them that their beliefs seems to be more dangerous and intolerable than what you think about christianity because if you offend a christian then the worst that I have known to happen is that they verbaly lash out against you in an unchristian-like way but if you offend a muslim then chances are the backlash you may get from them may be more severe than what you may recieve from christians.

Frog of the well considers it the entire world. That is their problem. Secondly they believe in numbers that's why they have used power and money to convert millions just to fool their own selves.
God save them.
They don't know it is not the power or the money which can actually motivate the people to turn to you but it is the love, affection, sacrifice and true teachings which can really work.

Its a form of group think. It occurs as a previous answer said in many groups and harks back to our more primitive tribal nature. It has its advantages, in the past in bonding people for survival against rival tribes. It is not so useful in today's world I think though and is a limiting factor that acts to prevent us working together more cooperatively. Religion has the added attraction of providing people comfort and community and a deep sense of belonging to something transcendent. A powerful psychological motivator. In cases of moderation I think religion can be a more positive than negative force but taken to the extreme ends of fundamentalism it is cult like and becomes so insular and intolerant that it is debilitating to function in a pluralistic society. These people are also much more easy to manipulate economically and politically.

Religion is good if you follow it.
Christian does not like act like that.
Who knows they are God's elect and have not yet come to their appointed time for salvation?
We act as Salt and Light in the world.
If we Christians do that, we will become a stumbling bloch to unbelievers.
We should not do it.

The darkness referred to here is spiritual darkness, meaning lack of understanding of spiritual things. It doesn't mean the unbeliever doesn't have a High IQ. He or She could be a Genius. But until you know God(more specifically Jesus) you;re on the outside looking in.

I don't think that...I'm a Christian and I know plenty of Christians who are morons...including myself on many occasions.
Therefore I'm not unique nor do I try to brainwash people. Most folks do a pretty good job at brainwashing themselves by refusing to consider opposing viewpoints or alternate explanations.
