Wipers won't turn off reliably?
My 2001 Buick Century was fine until the wipers froze in the last snow and ice storm. When I finally got them free an hour ago, they just started wiping with the switch still off. They stop for a moment, then start again and never seat themselves. They ignore the stalk switch completely. They only way to make them quit is to take out the fuse - a fine solution until the next time it snows or rains. What's up?

Replace the wiper motor assembley. The circuitry is messed up.

There's normally an autopark switch that tells the wipers to stop when they're fully down, maybe this has frozen, or perhaps there's a wedge of snow that's preventing the wipers from parking properly, or some plastic gears in the wiper gearbox have gotten shredded, in which case you'll need to fork out on a new motor and gearbox ($$!)

An Alfa with an electric powered concern? Mmmmmm. i'm specific interior the handbook there's a website asserting, 'your Alfa might have distinctive electric powered issues yet do no longer concern, it rather is thoroughly widely used'. they're a tremendous automobile to force, (maximum fashions) ooze character, tremendous interiors, a automobile with soul yet they are surprising whilst it contains reliability quite electric powered issues, the sellers get a coarse holiday too whilst it contains comments. attempt an independant automobile electrician because it ought to purely be a quick on the cables or fusebox, in case you purchased it 2d hand there might have been somebody fidgeting with the electrics.

Sounds like the motor got screwed up, or the connection was damaged.
The fuse has nothing to do with it. If it were the fuse, they wouldnt be working at all.
Its not a costly (or difficult) repair. Just take it in to the shop.
