Can you zap a person too long with a stun gun, and eventually kill them?
Or will it just leave them unconscious? I'm talking about a 500,000 volt stun gun. The, fictional, character in my story is using one on his victims and I want this to seem as real as possible. Thanks in advance for any help.

Its just like electrocution, too much in too short of a time can kill. And prolonged electrocution can damage the body, especially the heart.

I have a pacemaker and just one jolt of dc electricity is enough to cause it to burst inside my chest. So I would say anyone with the same or similar heart condition would die within moments of the initial shock.

Some people with underlying, but unknown medical conditions have died after being zapped once with these things.

Volts don't kill. Amps do.
