Why is it that Christians get so angry when a non-Christian...?

Why is it that Christians get so angry when a non-Christian do something good for humanity and gathers other non-Christians to help ease the pain and suffering in the world?

Update:

Some non-Christian friends of mine in South Africa and in the USA have combined forces to help needy people around regardless their religious beliefs. The group is composed by Atheists, Pagans, a few Muslims, some "Mita's in Aaron" (Mita's are Christians but no other Christian group considers them as Christians), and a handful of Wiccans.

The group have achieved what neither Christian nor government organisms have been able to achieve. But Christians are attacking them and trying to destroy their work. Why would that be?

Update 2:

Let's get this out in the open: I have nothing against Christians. My wife is Catholic, My daughter is Mormon, my brother is 7Day Adv., my mother was Disc of Christ and dad was Mason. I am Wiccan.

Yes, the Christians were invited, but they refused to join our "religious soup". Only the Mita's joined.

Because Christians are...different. Let's just say that semitic religions can be territorial. I have nothing against the vast majority of ordinary christians, but some of them treat their religion as an excuse to do whatever, others as an organization (with different motives). Think of it as a religous gang. And just like any other gang, they are territorial. Whenever another group gets a thumbs up, this minority of christians is reminded that other religions do exist. Other religions are active in the world. And more importantly, they are reminded that the other religions are enemies. Enemy gangs from their point of view. Their anger is directed towards the simple existence of pagans, wiccans, etc. Remember, this is generally a minority, as religion is downplayed a lot compared to previous centuries.

Because if they're NOT Christians doing the work to help the people who are suffering, then the people who are suffering aren't getting any help at all..........What will it benefit the suffering people to have a certain sect or cult or group of people help them with their needs of any sort when their efforts are in vain? The God of the Bible is the only one that can help these suffering people with their spiritual need for salvation and belief in the one and only true God. The Christians are the ONLY ones that can deliver that message of faith to them. If you cannot understand that, then you too have been deceived by the evil one.

I do not get angry when a non-christian does something good for humanity- I just wish that they were doing it in the name of Christ- but I am not angry- I know many non-christians that do good, and would love to see them come to know the Lord, but I am not angry- where did you get the idea that we are angry?

That is not true actually. May be the people you have met are narrow mined. A true Christian will always be happy to see other people doing good to humanity

I do not get angry at good things done for mankind.

Lest we forget, Christian missionaries and groups go all over the world and help feed people for years.

What Christians are you talking about.

Is it an organized denomination that's giving them grief? What's the situation.

I think you're generalizing based on anecdotal experiences you've had.
