On a calculator, how do you find the number 2 to the 32nd power?

Even if you have an x^y key, the quickest way to get the answer is to enter "2", then press the x^2 key five times. The number that will appear, in sequence, are: 2^2, 2^4, 2^8, 2^16, and 2^32.

If you have a scientific calculator, you should have a key that has either a ^ (sometimes followed by an x) or a key that has 2(little x on top right). If you have a scientific calculator there is a key labelled y^x.
