Let me rephrase my question what good is life without love?

Life is about lessons and growing, with or without love. Unfortunately, there may be periods in your life where you are not loved and have no one to love. That is just part of life.

I would love to have a lover. However, I know that I am not that well "upstairs" right now, and I am seeing a psychologist. Until I am ok in my head and in my heart, then I think I will be able to handle a love in my life. I think it is best to first be happy with yourself before you tackle a serious relationship. As for family, they are there for you always, but still, someone professional is the one to help you with your problems. So I guess what I am trying to say is that love is not the most important thing in life. You are.

It's as good as you make it. There are all kinds of things to love in the world - such as the world itself. Getting love back is grand, but the centre of love is simply companionship, and that's always available, selectively, in one form or another. Life has nothing to do with love at all. love is only something that we add to our life if we want it, just like hate or friends...

Even if you don't have romantic love you have the love of friends & family, you need to love yourself, you need to love something. Love nature, animals, hobbies, art, whatever you like but love & be passionate about something. You have to.
