How do I find Pro Bono lawyer for criminal cases?

I have seen how easy it is to get help with other cases but not criminal.

    You just have to ask. If you cannot afford an attorney every criminal justice system and court in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the UK will supply you with an experienced public defender.

    Contact your local bar association or look at their website. Usually they can refer you to an attorney who accepts pro bono cases.
