Can I access someone's Yahoo Answers profile if all I have is their screen-name?

Sure. It could be simple - or a bit difficult. Just type their screen name into the "search for questions" box. If it's a unique name - you'll see it right away. If it's common - something like "cutie" - you might have to look through a lot of stuff - but it will be there.

If the person with screen name, is on leadership board then you will get his/her profile with avatar. Click there and you go directly to the person's profile. If you remember any of question asked by the person, then search for those words in the question in 'search for question' box. You can also search according to 'best answers', question status(open, resolved, undecided etc), category(science, education, entertainment, etc) using 'advanced' search right next to 'Search'(in front of 'search for questions:')
