(Republican Congressman and Presidential candidate) How Can We Not IMPEACH Bush?
Read up on Paul, he is a conservative citizen statesman, a Texan and a hero. He doesn't play games either.
Republican Congressman and Presidential candidate Dr.Ron Paul says that Bush should be impeached not under the umbrella of partisan vengeance but for ceaselessly breaking the laws of the land.
"President Bush has presided over a system wide doctrine of violating the Constitution, from the Iraq War to the War on Terrorism and pursuing a North American Union agenda, without legally required Congressional oversight.
When the President signs all these bills and then adds statements after saying I have no intention of following it - he's in a way signing it and vetoing - so in his mind he's vetoing a lot of bills, in our mind under the rule of law he hasn't vetoed a thing.
Congress has generously ignored the Constitution while the President flaunts it, the courts have ignored it and they get in the business of legislating so there's no respect for the rule of law."
Is he right?
ROADRUNNER,
In violation of his oath of office, Bush used signing statements to negate laws passed by Congress, not with a veto, but with his personal opinion. Bush, thus, elevated himself above the rule of law that has protected America from becoming a tyranny and made a mockery of the separation of powers that are a foundation of American liberty.
Our elected representatives, if not the American people, now regard as normal such heinous actions as war crimes, the rape of the Constitution, self-serving use of government office, and the constant stream of lies and propaganda from the highest offices of the executive branch.

I hate Bush and Chaney. They are ruining this country with their arrogance and completely destroying the images of American people. In return they are making all Americans look like world conqueror or something. Yes I say impeach both of them before this country is ruined for good.

Hmm. I dunno. I'm not inclined to jump to impeachment. I was against impeaching Clinton, and I'm not really in favor of impeaching Bush. Bush has been an utter failure, but that's not an excuse to impeach. That just means you shouldn't vote for him. But I'll check into Ron Paul's justification, because he's usually pretty thoughtful about these things. If he's now recommending impeachment, perhaps it's worth considering.
Where did you hear Paul talk about impeachment? I haven't heard that. I've been following his campaign pretty closely, and it's not in the press. Frankly, I think we all would have heard about it if a Republican presidential candidate was talking about impeaching a sitting Republican president. The more I think about it, the more I begin to think you're probably making this up. It just doesn't ring true. The press would have been all over this if it were.

The length of time he has stayed in office is testimonial on his following the letter of the law. No mater what the whiners on answers say Bush hasn't crossed the line that allows the Dems to take action. Since Gore attempted to steel the election in 2000, the democrats have been screaming impeach Bush.
By crying wolf so many times are The Dem's trying to embolden Bush like they have embolden the terrorist? Is their plan to allow Bush to leap over the line having everyone so conditioned that the 5th column is just at it again?
Interesting tactic.

I say after 100,000 Iraqi civilians are dead in the ground, we can take him aside and say "Now George, don't you think the United States has had enough playing with guns for now?" And if he throws a temper tandrum, then I say wait until 200,000 Iraqi's are lifeless and 6 feet under, and THEN we count to 5, 1-2--3-----4-----------5!, and give him a SPANKING. That will teach him a lesson, right guys?!?!!??!

I know that shoulder patch. I personally gave it to State Sen Charles Duke, who forwarded it to the JBS, who printed it in the magazine. I want my patch back!
(It was a proposed new FEMA patch, in about 1994, long before Brownie. FEMA then was set up to police average citizens, who were about to rise up after Waco.)

Ron Paul is a perfect example of why I'll never be a libertarian. he says some good things, then goes completely off the reservation with something like this! what a "maroon", to quote Bugs Bunny

If all of that is true then the little evil chimp should be impeached. He is NOT a George Washington on a white horse, that is for damn sure.

Excuse me! What laws did you say the President broke? Impeachment can only be done for a criminal act, not wishful thinking!

No Ron Paul is a Libertarian who couldnt get elected unless he joined the dems or reps. He is conservative on specific issues and quite liberal on others.

This is just another politician spouting off what he thinks his voting base wants to hear. What a loser.
