To keep it from getting dry and tight, I am not so worried about vitamin E and having the scar dissapeer, just the other two things to keep it from getting so tight and hurting.

You should probably ask a dermatologist, but I would probably use: Vaseline or any petroleum jelly, emu oil (a pure oil, rendered from the emu animal, and which has been used by the Australian Aborigines for centuries) or something like Lubraderm. And, of course, vitamin E.
